Godzilla Is Real

It is not uncommon to spot alligators roaming around links in the Sunshine State. Besides Australia and South Africa, Florida is one of the few places in the world where crocs can be seen strolling freely in golf courses or county parks. Early last month, a gator sighting shocked and amused a family visiting from North Carolina.

Norma Respess and her family members spotted a giant alligator casually walking across a golf course with a massive fish in its mouth. They were on the 10th hole of the Seven Springs Golf and Country Club in Trinity when the incident happened.

One of the Respesses dropped her club and ran, but her husband whipped out her cellphone to record the rather strange situation. The gator seemed oblivious of the people on the golf course and was more focused on getting to a pond where he would eat his lunch.

The ravenous reptile’s lunch was surmised to be a carp, according to one of the witnesses. It looked big enough to be a seagull, the witness added.

YouTube channel Storyful first uploaded the extraordinary scene on the golf course. The video clip was viewed by over half a million views after three days.

Alligator sightings in Florida that created sensation online and have drawn national media sensation are nothing new. Back in January 2017, a visitor at the Circle B Bar Reserve posted a video on Facebook of a massive alligator nicknamed Hunchback strutting across a walking path. The video has been shared nearly 30,000 times.

Almost a year ago in Palmetto, Florida, a 16-foot alligator was witnessed by a golfer, Charles Helm, at the Buffalo Creek Golf Course. The video uploaded by the golfer had the Internet having a difficult time deciding if it’s real or some sort of CGI hoax. But employees at the golf course confirmed that the gator frequents the place without bothering anyone. You can see how big the animal is when another man got a closer look. The reptile has become a mascot for the course, which is owned by the Manatee County.

Another sighting happened in March 2016 at the Myakka Pines Golf Course in Englewood. An alligator named Goliath was seen eating a turtle for breakfast, according to the club’s Facebook page. Earlier that month, two people also spotted the alligator roaming the course. The gator is estimated at 12 to 13 feet long.

A June 2016 report by CBS News estimated the population of alligators in Florida to more than a million. They remain listed as endangered species due to their close resemblance with the endangered American crocodile.

According to Jack Hanna, director emeritus of Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, alligators are present almost everywhere in Florida. There is no evidence of alligators running after people or other animals on land, but an attack near their habitats such as swamps or ponds is possible.

Alligators go for prey species that are easily accessible. While adult alligators prefer fish, snakes, turtles, and mammals, juvenile alligators primarily eat insects and amphibians.

Lost Ways Of Survival Video

An amazing discovery in an abandoned house in Austin, Texas: A lost book of amazing survival knowledge, believed to have been long vanished to history, has been found in a dusty drawer in the house which belonged to a guy named Claude Davis.

Remember... back in those days, there was no electricity... no refrigerators... no law enforcement... and certainly no grocery store or supermarkets... Some of these exceptional skills are hundreds of years of old and they were learned the hard way by the early pioneers.

We've lost to history so much survival knowledge that we've become clueless compared to what our great grandfathers did or built on a daily basis to sustain their families.

Neighbors said that for the last couple of years Claude has tried to unearth and learn the forgotten ways of our great-grandparents and claimed to have found a secret of gargantuan proportions.
